Wellington Round two Tournament was held on the 21st of August. It was a great day and everybody had a fantastic time! We had the largest tournament to date with 138 competitors in all! The energy in the room was electric, the music was pumping loud and there was people practicing everywhere. The first ever Specifics Training triathlon camp was held at Mount Maunganui from Thursday 5 to Sunday 8 November 2009.

The training camp was a resounding success and attracted 8 triathletes who put their hearts and souls into some hard core training over the three days. Steph Murray, Evan Worts, Teresa Stevens, her partner Bruce, Evan Agnew, Rhonda Rock-Evans, Nicki Futcher, Jo Wilmott and Simon Bartlett all participated to make it an awesome event. Read More »

Like all great ideas it started over a beer, I was at Keith Webb Autos chewing the fat and Keith said "there's a long weekend coming up. Why don't we all go for a walk".

The Southern Cross was what he had in mind. It sounded like a great idea to me. The Southern Crossing is a 40 km tramp over the highest mountain in the Tararua ranges. It would take us three days with good people and great friends.Read More »
